Government of India today appointed Dr Shakti Kumar Gupta as the first Executive Director of AIIMS Vijaypur in Jammu Region.
“The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved the appointments to the post of Executive Director in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Vijaypur, Samba (Jammu, J&K), Rajkot (Gujarat), Madurai (Tamil Nadu), and Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh) in the level 15 of the Pay Matrix plus admissible NPA on short term contract basis, for a period of three years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post – which may further be extended upto 5 years or till incumbent attains the age of 70 years or until further orders whichever is the earliest,” reads an order of issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training Secretariat of Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
As per the order, Medical Superintendent, Dr RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr Shakti Kumar Gupta has been appointed as Executive Director in AIIMS Vijaypur in J&K.
