In Vision Document, BJP says contesting DDC polls in national interest

In a 20-point vision document unveiled on Thursday, BJP has said it was contesting the District Development Council (DDC) polls in J&K focusing on national interest.

Other political parties including the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), Congress and National Panthers Party have been termed as those willing to trade India’s national interest.

“The BJP stands shoulder to shoulder with Indian armed forces and has enhanced their defense capabilities in recent years to counter cross border threats. However, the Gupkar gang has undermined India’s national interest,” reads the manifesto of BJP which was released here at the party’s headquarters.

The vision document reads: “Government has identified more than 70000 jobs out of which about 15000 had already been advertised and put to the selection process. Rest of jobs will also be advertised shortly. These jobs are only in the government sector, many fold more jobs will be created in the private sector also to absorb youth.”

The BJP has promised 100 percent job reservation for locals in Government, regularization of daily wagers/casual labourers and zero tolerance to corruption.

“Local population will have a hundred percent job protection and the private sector has pledged investment across sectors and this will bring huge job and business opportunities for the local population,” reads the document.

The document states: “Zero tolerance to encroachments and illegal regularizations. All encroachments will be examined, illegalities will be removed and encroachments shall be retrieved.”
