The former militant who was attacked by some gunman in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district 10 days ago succumbed in a Srinagar hospital today.
Tanveer Ahmad Sofi, a resident of Kakapora, was attacked on October 15 near his house. He had sustained bullet injuries in his abdomen.
Sofi was earlier associated with the LeT. He was earlier arrested and released last year.
