Expressing serious concern over the plight of political prisoners detained in various jails outside the state, President J&K People’s Movement, Shah Faesal Saturday called upon the government to immediately review their cases and set them free.
“I have been told that various leaders are facing’inhuman’ jail conditions and no one is coming forward to help them”,Faesal in a statement said.
“Upholding the spirit of Ramadhan, the Governmentshould review the cases against the detained political activists immediatelyand set them free”, he added. “The JKPM,” he said, “will launch a valley-wide campaign to getjustice for the political prisoners and arrange legal aid for them.”
