Retired Supreme Court Judge Pinaki Chandra Ghose on Saturday took oath as India’s first Lokpal. “President Ram NathKovind administered the oath of office to Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose as Chairperson, Lokpal, at a ceremony held at the RashtrapatiBhavan,” an official statement said.
Justice Ghose will headthe panel that comprise Justice Dilip B. Bhosale, Justice Pradip Kumar Mohanty,Justice AbhilashaKumari and Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi.
Besides, the panel would have Dinesh Kumar Jain, ArchanaRamasundaram, Mahender Singh and Indrajeet Prasad Gautam as non-judicial members.
