A labourer was killed and another injured when a snow avalanche hit the construction site of a mini hydel power project in Rayil area of Gund in Ganderbal district Friday afternoon.
An official said labourers were working at the constructionsite of the power project when the snow avalanche hit the area.
Station House Officer Gund, SajadHussain, identified thekilled labourer as Suran Singh of Pathankot.
