Rains lashed many parts of Kashmir on Wednesday including plains and higher reaches. Meteorological department here said light to moderate rains across the Jammu and Kashmir are likely to occur at many places in the next 24 hours and light snowfall on higher reaches.
Maximum and minimum temperature recorded in Srinagar was 13degree Celsius and 6.4 degree Celsius respectively. The maximum and minimumtemperature recorded in Jammu was 27.2 degree Celsius and 13.6 degree Celsiusrespectively while it remained 13.5 degree Celsius and minus 2.4 degree Celsiusin Leh respectively. “The weather will remain largely cloudy till March 31,with possibility of rains at isolated places. There is also possibility oflight snowfall over higher reaches,” a MeT official said.
