NEET on Sep 13; JEE (Mains) from Sep 1

The NEET UG 2020, a test required for admission to medical colleges across the country, will be held on September 13.

As per a notification issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA), as many as 15,97,433 candidates are appearing in the exams.

   

“The admit cards of the candidates will be released shortly and around 99.87 percent candidates will be accommodated against their first preference of the Centre,” it reads.

The NTA stated that it has made elaborate arrangements to sanitize examination centres before and after the conduct of the exams.

“We will also provide fresh masks and hand gloves as per the request of the candidates. The NTA has also prepared comprehensive advisory regarding the covid19 for all functionaries for centre management. The advisory has been developed based on the MJRD guidelines,” the NTA notification reads.

The NTA has also written to state Chief Secretaries, Director General of Police, District Magistrates and SPs of the concerned cities to solicit their support for maintaining law and order conditions, power supply, facilitation of movement of candidates and exam functionaries, crowd management in front of exam centres.

The NTA stated that the exams for JEE (Mains) will be conducted from September 1 to 6 for which it has already released the admit cards of the candidates as well.

“Around 6,49,223 candidates have downloaded the admit cards out of 8,58,273 who were registered for the exams,” the notification reads.
