Chairman Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was questioned on the second day on Tuesday at the National Investigation Agency (NIA) headquarters in New Delhi in connection with a funding case.
“His questioning started again today at 10.30am at the NIAheadquarters and was on till 8pm,” said senior Hurriyat (M) leader Bilal Lone,who along with another senior leader of the amalgam, Abdul Gani Bhat areaccompanying Mirwaiz. Mirwaiz would be questioned again on Wednesday, GreaterKashmir learnt.
On Monday, Mirwaiz was questioned for nearly nine hours andwas asked to present himself again before the NIA sleuths on Tuesday.
