The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday submitted the report of the Special Investigation Team, which was constituted to probe the rape of a minor girl in Bandipora district, before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bandipora.
Raja Mohammad Tasleem, CJM, said the police have filed thestatus report of the SIT but they are yet to submit the case detail file.”Prosecution has sought two days time to submit the case detail file. Ihave asked them to submit the case detail file by Thursday evening,” he said.
All evidences collected by the police are in the case detailfile. The CJM had on Monday directed the police to file the status report alongwith the case detail file today.
On Wednesday, the CJM will issue an order regarding thefiling of the status report by the police before the court.
