Security forces on Saturday conducted a search operation in several villages of Sunderbani tehsil of Rajouri district after reports of some “suspicious movement” in the area.
Searches were launched in Kangri and adjoining villages by army and police and operation continued throughout the day.
Officials said that the searches were launched by army and police after locals informed about presence of a “suspect.”
“The operation was called off in the evening but several patrolling teams of army and police are still present in the area,” the officials added.
