A suspected IED-like object found in Manjakote area of Rajouri district was destroyed by the bomb squad through a controlled explosion on Wednesday.
On Wednesday morning, a Road Opening Party of the army was patrolling on a highway stretch between Manjakote and Bhimber Gali when a box was found in a drain along Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch highway.
Bomb disposal squad was called who destroyed the object through a controlled explosion.
SSP Rajouri Chandan Kohli said further investigation was going on.
