The Tangmarg resident who died due to coronavirus on Sunday was buried as per the guidelines set by the authorities at his native village in Sulanda Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official said that only a few people from the family wereallowed to participate in the funeral after wearing protective gear. Besides asper the protocol, the body was buried 8 feet below the surface.
Meanwhile, the authorities have quarantined around 25 peoplein the native village of the deceased person. Among those quarantined includehis four family members.
