Incessant rains on Wednesday triggered flash floods in north Kashmir’s Gurez valley causing damage to a water supply scheme and blocking a road.
An official said that the incessant rains triggered flash floods in Khandyal village in Gurez which washed off a water supply scheme, and a road in Burnai village leading towards Tulail got blocked for several hours.
Sub-divisional magistrate Gurez, Mudasir Ahmad told Greater Kashmir that the road near Burnai was blocked due to rockslides and the BRO was removing the roadblocks.
