About 38 children from Khumriyal area of Lolab here have fallen sick even as the district administration has set up isolated ward to check Swine Flu suspects.

About 38 children from Khumriyal area of Lolab here have fallen sick even as the district administration has set up isolated ward to check Swine Flu suspects.  

Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Kumar Rajiv Ranjan told Greater Kashmir that 38 children of Iqra Colony Khumriyal have fallen sick and "were suffering from high fever, cough and other ailments."

Ranjan said a team of doctors was sent to area. "Among them, seven were brought to district hospital. They were examined and later discharged," he added.

The Deputy Commissioner said they have set up an isolated ward of five beds at Nutnusa for the Swine Flu suspects.
