District Hospital Budgam lacked in central heating system, adding to the inconvenience to the patients and the attendants.
A delegation comprising relatives of patients complained that patients in Agha Syed Yusuf Memorial Hospital in Budgam were suffering as there was no central heating system.
Lately, the hospital authorities have installed the wall mount heating which aggravates the condition of heating.
“My cousin was admitted there and the heating caused her throat dry and also we (attendants) fell sick due to this system,” said Firdous Ahmad Mir, a local. Superintendent of Budgam Hospital refuted the allegations, saying, “There is no such problem in the hospital. This heating system is not any disaster for patients as they have the option of keeping it on low or high level.”
