DAK (S) demands impartial probe into Kupwara incident

Taking the sue-Moto cognisance of media reports about the Kupwara incident in which the patient were allegedly been denied the ambulance services, Doctors Association kashmir  (DAK) led by Dr Suhail Nayak has urged the Cheif Medical Officer (CMO) Kupwara to frame an inquiry committee to ascertain the facts.

The DAK (S) president, Dr Suhail Naik in a statement expressed his dismay over the reports and re-affirmed that doctors community is bound to serve the society and no sort of negligence is acceptable.

   

He said that Doctors Association Kashmir has time and again requested the higher authorities to club the maternity and child care Services in district Kupwara and other districts so that maternity services can be run 24×7 without any hiccups. This will also decrease the patient referrals to Lala-Ded (LD) Hospital.

Dr Owais H Dar, General Secretary DAK (S), asked theauthorities to make the committee report public.
