DAY 51: FMH wokers continue to agitate

Jammu Kashmir Female Multipurpose Health Worker Welfare Association (FMHWWA) continued to agitate for the 51st consecutive day on Tuesday, to press the government to mitigate their issues and fulfill their demands.

The protesters appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Governor S P Malik to solve their issues.

   

President of the Association Neelam Kumari and Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) president Sushil Sudan appealed to all the employees of Jammu division to make the ‘Kashmir Chalo’ programme on October 24 successful, “if their demands are not redressed before then.” They also requested all the employees of Jammu province, including Jammu and Kashmir Government Pharmacists Association, to observe a half-day strike on October 17.

The leaders further urged upon the Governor to intervene, so that the issues like delinking of CSS salary from the funding sources (Corpus-delinking) and pending salary since March, 2018 are resolved. They also put for the other demands, which included DPC of FMPHW as LHV, job functions fixed at par with other working categories of health sector and amendment of SRO-20.
