A team of officials from drug department Budgam has suspended licenses of some medical shops for not maintaining sale/purchase records of psychotropic drugs.
The team comprising of drug inspector Syed Tanveer and drugs inspector Imtiyaz Ahmed Malla and headed by assistant drugs controller Budgam, Nazir Ahmed Dar suspended license of six medical shops during surprise visits in Ompora, Humhama and Chrar-e-Sharief for not maintaining sale/purchase record of NTx/ psychotropic drugs, said a statement, adding the team was assisted by Bashir Ahmed Dar.
The statement said 12 show cause notices were served to various medical shops and the drive shall be continued for one month in entire district.
