United States has granted patent to a procedure for spinal disorder invented by a Kashmiri medico.
Dr Tariq A Tramboo, who is the inventor and also the chairman of spineloop California in an e-mailed statement to Greater Kashmir said, “This technique will revolutionise the complicated spinal surgery into the simple 15 min procedure and will help millions around the globe. First human trial will start at Ukraine soon.”
The statement said that this novel procedure for spinal disorder (canal stenosis) has won many international patents and recently the most difficult American patent was granted. “This is not the patent application number but the real patent. Many high profile competitors and world leaders in medical technology were competing with us for the same,” the statement added.
