Two lady doctors and a staff nurse who were placed under suspension following the death of a woman allegedly due to medical negligence at District Hospital Pulwama, were exonerated by the inquiry committees.
Official documents reveal that the death of the woman was not caused due to negligence of the doctors.
The medicos, including Dr Tasleema, Dr Tahira and Tahira Rasool (staff nurse) have been exonerated vide order No. Est 3/1-133/179-85 dated April 4, 2015.
The inquiry committees have also attached the post-mortem report of the deceased with its final report. “The medicos were not found negligent in any manner and the cause of death of the deceased is in no manner any medical negligence,” said an official, privy to the inquiry committees.
“In this particular case two separate enquiries were conducted and simultaneously the post mortem of the deceased was also carried out to ascertain the actual cause of death,” he added.
“The independent enquiry committee, in which none of the doctors from District Hospital Pulwama was part and the post mortem report have established beyond doubt that doctors who were held responsible have been found innocent and were exonerated,” he informed.
These medicos were put under suspension by DC Pulwama Neeraj Kumar after relatives of Khurshida, wife of Ghulam Rasool Bhat of Lajura village staged protests alleging medical negligence as cause of her death.
