Prez stresses for setting up of CUK's own campus

Mukherjee emphasised on setting up campus with multidimensional facilities to boost academic culture and promote linkage with the community and society.

President, Pranab Mukherjee, who also is Visitor Central Universities, stressed on consolidated efforts for setting up own campus of Central University of Kashmir (CUK).

Addressing two-day conference of Vice-Chancellors of Central Universities at President’s House here, Mukherjee emphasised on setting up campus with multidimensional facilities to boost academic culture and promote linkage with the community and society. “Incubator Centres be established to give boost to innovations and inspired teachers must be identified and invited for an interaction with the students and faculty. The teaching-learning process should be improved at every level,” Mukherjee said.

The CUK officiating Vice-Chancellor, Prof Mehrajudin Mir represented the varsity in the conference and put forth the achievements and impediments faced by CUK during last one year.
