The bridge connecting Chadoora with Pulwama, Newa, Kuzweraand Bugam is nobody’s baby. The construction of this bridge had started longback but till date it has not been completed. We request the concernedauthorities to get this bridge constructed at the earliest.

I want to bring it intothe notice of the concerned authorities that last week the selection list ofAnesthesia assistants for Ganderbal district was released. According to theeligibility criteria I should have been selected but they have dropped me andarts students have been selected. It’s sheer injustice. The eligibilitycriteria clearly stated that candidates should have cleared 10+2 with scienceas subjects and need to have diploma in Anesthesia. I knocked at every door andtold everyone about I having the requiste qualification but my pleas fell flat.I request the concerned authorities to do justice with me.

Publish selection list
Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board had advertised theposts of management executives in Labour and Employment Department in December2017. The written exam conducted on 9 May 2019. The revised answer keys werealso uploaded. It has been almost 3 months but the results are still awaited.
When these posts were advertised aspirants were told thatthis is the part of JKSSB’s fast track recruitment. Even the fast trackrecruitment takes two years. One can imagine how many years will normalrecruitment process take. We request the concerned authorities to declare the results and make the selectionlist public without any further delay.

Job aspirants seek Governor’s intervention
We the unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir state want todraw the attention of Governor Satya Pal Malik towards the recently notifiedposts of Panchayat Accounts Assistant. The eligibility criteria for the saidposts has been changed from general to some particular streams. We have noissue with it. But the percentage for the selection has been kept on the higherside. If this is not relaxed hundreds of candidates won’t be able to apply forthese posts.
We request Governor Malik to intervene and allow thecandidates to apply for these posts without any percentage bar.

JKSRTC leaves job aspirants in lurch
We the aspirants, who had qualified written exam for theposts of junior assistants in 2019 conducted by Jammu and Kashmir State RoadTransport Corporation have been left in lurch. We had even qualified the typingtest. The recruitment process started in 2016 and kept on lingering till 2019. After making us wait for three years the SRTChas cancelled the whole recruitment process for some unknown reasons. Werequest the Jammu and Kashmir Governor to look into the matter and direct theconcerned authorities not to abandon the process.

Last year everybody heaved a sigh of relief as begging wasbanned, many beggars were taken into rehabilitation centres by the government,but this year beggars are again on prowl from Sanat Nagar chowk to Jehangirchowk. I wonder will this begging ban also go the polythene ban way?
It’s a well known fact that polythene is not produced inKashmir, although its duty of every citizen not to use polythene, why isgovernment allowing polythene to reach Kashmir? There are so many entry pointsinto Kashmir, if polythene can reach Kashmir so easily then drugs like herointoo can reach Kashmir.

Act against land mafia
We the residents of Bemina had wetland and a flood channelspread over hundreds of kanal of land. Whenever Jehlum used to cross the dangerlevel this flood channel used to save many areas. Now the situation has changedand people are worried as the land mafia has filled this entire flood channel.Next time Jehlum overflows Bemina will become a history.
We the residents request the higher ups to take a note ofthis grave issue and save our area from getting flooded by acting tough againstthe land mafia.

4 yrs on, NT aspirants await selection list
It has been four years and eight months now since the JKSSB advertisedposts for Naib Tehsildars. Unfortunately, the selection list is yet to bepublished by the board. The whole process of short listing and interviews wasdone in last December and a qualifying test of Urdu language was taken in Aprilthis year. The board has added to to the dilemma of the candidates by delayingthe selection list beyond reasonable time. Today we appeal Governor, Satya PalMalik to kindly intervene and direct the board to bring out the selection listwithout any further delay.

Contractual lecturers seek Governor’s intervention
This is in response to the government order aboutdiscontinuation of the services of contractual lecturers working at plus twolevel on 10th of August 2019. I wonder what will happen to students andcontractual community as both are going to face hardships. This is totalinjustice. We request the Governor to look in to the matter and come up with anappropriate solution.
