Authorities in Jammu have set-up 12 quarantine centers for the suspected COVID-19 cases and deputed the required manpower to these facilities.
An order issued by additional Deputy Commissioner TahirFirdous said 12 officials have been deployed to the centres to take over supervisionand control of the facilities.
An official said the centers have a capacity ofaccommodating 1255 persons.
Directions have also been passed for deployment of adequatenumber of security personnel in these centers.The designated nodal officers will coordinatewith departments concerned to ensure cleanliness, sanitation and arrangementsof waste disposal in the centres.
