Sixteen persons were injured Saturday when a passenger bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Jhajjar in Udhampur district, police said.
The passenger vehicle (JK02AP) was on way from Udhampurtowards Jammu when it collided with another vehicle taking a wrong turn on theJammu-Srinagar national highway near Jhajjar.
“All the injured have been shifted to Government MedicalCollege and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu,” police said.
A case FIR number 56/2019 under section 279, 337 RPC hasbeen registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station as an investigation into theaccident was underway.
