Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday claimed it has arrested 2 drug peddlers and recovered from their possession 485 intoxicant capsules.
A police spokesman said that a police party of Vijaypur police station headed by SI Chetan Kumar, during patrolling in Main Bazar, Vijaypur intercepted a person who was moving in suspicious condition.
During search, he said, 275 intoxicant capsules (Parvon Spas Plus) were recovered from the possession of the person.
The accused person was booked in case FIR number 21/2019 under section 8/21/22 of NDPS Act registered at police station Vijaypur.
In another incident, a police party of police station Ramgarh headed by inspector VikasDogra, SHO Ramgarh, during patrolling in Kamala area intercepted one person and during his search, the police party recovered 210 capsules of SPM-PRX Plus.
The accused was booked in case FIR number 12/2019 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at police station Ramgarh. Further investigation has been taken up.
