The total number ofCovid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 300 with fresh 22 casesreported in region today, officials said.
“22 new cases reported from J&K today. Jammu-4 Kashmir-18. All contacts of positive cases. Total number of positive cases now 300 Jammu-54 and Kashmir-246,” tweeted the government spokesman, Rohit Kansal.

Earlier this week,over two dozen persons who had tested positive for the novel disease weredischarged from hospitals following their recovery.
Four persons –three in Kashmir and one in Jammu – have died due to the disease, whichoriginated in China late last year and has infected over 15 million peopleacross the world.
