At least 29 KAS officers were on Wednesday deployed with Deputy Commissioners (DCs) across Jammu and Kashmir to assist them in coronavirus mitigation efforts.
As per the order issued byGeneral Administration Department (GAD), Chief Operating Officer, Himayat, KapilSharma; Registrar, Udhampur district, Satish Kumar and Collector LandAcquisition, Defense, Rajouri Aijaz Qaiser have been deployed with DC Jammu.
Additional Secretary in Public Works (R&B) Department,Rajnish Kumar and Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority,Kishtwar, Anil Sharma have been deployed with DC Kathua.
Director, Geology and Mining, Jammu, Ashwani Khajuria, andAdditional Secretary of Higher Education Department, Pran Singh have beendeployed with DC Samba.
Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority,Patnitop, Sachin Dev Singh and Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu havebeen deployed with DC Udhampur.
DC Commissioner, State Taxes, Recovery, Jammu headquarteredat Jammu, Rajinder Singh and Deputy Secretary, School Education Department,Tanveer-ul-Majid Wani have been deployed with DC Ramban.
Deputy Secretary, Public Works (R&B) Department, ShahidMehmood has been deployed with DC Reasi.
Deputy Secretary, PublicService Commission, Tahir Mushtafa Malik has been deployed with DC Rajouri andAdditional Officer in the office of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, NisarAhmed Shad deployed with DC Poonch.
Additional Secretary, Agriculture Production DepartmentMuhammed Farooq Dar, Joint Director Industries and Commerce, Kashmir, FayazAhmed Fayaz and Principal RTI, Srinagar, Syed Sajad Qadiri have been deployedwith DC Srinagar.
