3 held for Kathua shootout in land dispute

Three persons were arrested following a  firing incident in Kathua as two groups clashed with each other over a disputed piece of land.

SSP Kathua Shailendra Mishra told Greater Kashmir that the incident happened between two different parties (groups) which had a dispute over a piece of land.

   

“Advocate Diwakar allegedly fired two bullets. However, no one was wounded in the firing incident,” said the SSP. The scuffle was followed by a stone-throwing incident, involving both the sides. SSP further added, “The scuffle between both sides led to injuries in stone-throwing.”

He said that they registered a case and three persons were already arrested in this regard.
