3 trains with 4,878 passengers leave for MP, Chattisgarh

As part of evacuation of passengers stranded in J&K, three Shramik special trains carrying 4,878 Madhya Pardesh and Chattisgarh bound migrant workers left from Katra on Wednesday.

With this, the total number of outbound migrant workers who have been sent back to their home states and UTs through the trains has reached 26,564. So far, the government has arranged 16 special trains to facilitate the migrant workers reach their home towns safely.
