As many as 97 people landed at Jammu Airport today. Among them 94 were locals living in different parts of Jammu and three were foreigners.
The locals had returned from 15 countries while as the threeforeigners were from France, Mauritius and Thailand.
“All of them reported to the medical authorities and madeself-declaration about the purpose of their visit and medical position,”sources said.
They said 94 of these people who came from United Kingdom,China, South Korea, United States of America, Germany, Singapore, Abu Dhabi,Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), South Africa, Denmark, Indonesia, Australia, Qatar,Azerbaijan, and Sweden were locals living in different districts of Jammudivision.
“Among the foreigners, one each was from Thailand andMauritius, who have come for pilgrimage and the third one was from France, whohas come for business purpose,” they said.
All declared their health condition and illness status, ifany. After self-declaration they proceeded for their respective destinations.”The health department officials are checking everyone at the airport; thesuspects are examined and their fever is checked by thermometers,” said anofficial, who wished not to be named.
