Amarnath Yatra permit forms revamped

Advance registration of pilgrims for Amarnath Yatra commenced on 1st April 2019, for both the Baltal and Chandanwari routes, through 442 designated Bank branches of Punjab National Bank, Jammu & Kashmir Bank and YES Bank all over the country.

This year’s 46 days’ Yatra shall commence simultaneously onboth the routes from 1st July 2019 and culminate on Raksha Bandhan, the 15thAugust 2019.

   

CEO, Umang Narula informed that the existing Yatra PermitForms have been further improved for ensuing Yatra 2019.

“Each new Yatra Permit Form is coded with a Quick ResponseCode (QR Code) and Bar Code for effective enumeration and tracking of pilgrimsembarking on both Yatra routes,” he said.

This initiative of the Board will help in real timemonitoring of the movement of Yatris on both the Yatra tracks of Baltal axis aswell as of Pahalgam Axis.
