Army soldier injured as India, Pakistan trade fire along LoC in Poonch

An army man was injured after the soldiers of India and Pakistan traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

An official said that Pakistan army fired at Indian positions along the LoC in Shahpur sector of Poonch today morning.

   

He said Indian troops retaliated to the firing effectively. “An army man was injured in the cross-border firing,” he said.

There are unconfirmed reports of injury to a civilian as well.
