BSF, Pak Rangers hold sector level meet at IB

The border security force (BSF) and the Pakistan Rangers Monday held sector commander level meet on International Border in Suchetgarh area of Jammu.

A BSF spokesperson said, “On arrangements of Pakistan Rangers from 1100 hours to 1200 hours, a sector commander level meeting was held between BSF and Pakistan Rangers”.

The BSF delegation comprising 18 officers was led by P S Dhiman, DIG BSF Jammu sector, while Brigadier Amjad Mehmud, sector commander Chenab Rangers, Sialkote Punjab, Pakistan led the Pakistan delegation comprising 14 officers including five Wing Commanders. 

“During the meeting, the commanders of both the border guarding forces, inter alia, discussed various issues including firing on international border, presence of suspects in border areas and other routine issues related to border management.
