J&K Chief Justice Gita Mittal Friday appointed two Additional Registrar-cum-Bench Secretaries as nodal officers for Jammu and Srinagar wings of the High Court for following up matter where directions have been given by Supreme Court which are required to be implemented or where time bound reports have to be submitted to the Supreme Court or any other forum or authority.
As per order, CJ ordered on the administrative side inconnection with the proceedings of PIL Nos. 13 & 14 of 2016 titled J&KHigh Court Bar Association V/s Union of India and others, wherein her lordshiphas expressed her displeasure about the manner in which the Court files arebeing maintained, the manner in which proper noting of the orders passed by theSupreme Court of India are not being marked and brought to the notice ofconcerned Benches. In the above backdrop Durga Dass AdditionalRegistrar-cum-Bench Secretary and Azad Ahmad Wani, Additional Registrar (Adm)are appointed as nodal officers for Jammu and Srinagar wings of the High Courtrespectively for following up the matter where directions have been given bySupreme Court which are required to be implemented or where time bound reportshave to be submitted to the Supreme Court or any other Forum or Authority.
