Congress, NC celebrating China’s veto: Dr Jitendra

UnionMinister of State (MoS) in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Dr Jitendra SinghThursday accused Congress and National Conference (NC) of celebrating China’sVeto against India, which, he said, is yet another evidence of theirdegradation to the lowest levels of political ethics in blatant race forelectoral benefits.

Speaking tomedia persons on the sidelines of a party meeting here, Dr Jitendra Singh said, one would have tempted to believe that, following Jawaharlal Nehru’s”Hindi – Chini Bhai Bhai” debacle, culminating in India’s humiliatingdefeat in 1962 war, the Congress Party would have learnt lessons.

“However, over half-a-century later, it is yet once again proven that the misconceivednotions continue to prevail on the Congress leadership’s mindset,” he said.

Similarly,Dr Jitendra Singh said, the National Conference vice-president’s cryptic,back-handed tweets smack of “perversion” which is often the result offrustrated political ambitions.

“From beingapologetic to Kashmir separatists, militants and even hostile militant outfitslike Jaish-e-Muhammad, the NC leadership is now stooped down to draw a sadistpleasure in India’s setback on international for a,” he said.

Dr Singhsaid that those who do not have the moral authority to outrightly name andshame Jaish-e-Muhammad and Pakistan for Pulwama attack, have no moral authorityor propriety to post unsolicited comments about what happened at the UNOyesterday.

Dr JitendraSingh claimed that China’s Veto at the UNO meet yesterday should be construedas a huge diplomatic victory for India and at the same time, a great successfor Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign outreach over the last five years.

He said,China today stands isolated in the world fora and even those countries whichwere earlier reluctant to take a stand against Beijing, are today constrainedto distance themselves from it.

It is nowmore than evident, Dr Jitendra Singh said, that China and Pakistan, both have avested interest in continuance of terrorism in India, particularly Kashmir. If,even now, this not is an eye-opener for some of the apologists back home, it isfor the people of India to decide about their fate.
