CS led committee to review suspension cases of All India Services officers

General Administration Department (GAD) on Tuesday constituted a review committee for suspension cases of All India Services.

The sanction was accorded to the constitution of a committee comprising Chief Secretary J&K as chairman, Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department as member, Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD) as members. Whereas, the Home Secretary Director General of Police, J&K will be co-opted as members in a case concerning a member of the Indian Police Service (IPS).

   

The Administrative Secretary, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment/Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, J&K shall be co-opted as members in a case concerning a member of the Indian Forest Service (IFoS).

The committee shall discharge the functions and follow the procedures for review of the cases placed before it as laid down in the All India Services (Disciplines and Appeal) Rules, 1969. The concerned departments shall submit agenda notes with full details of the case for consideration of the Committee.
