In order to review the progress of construction of road from Udhampur to Chenani via Ladan Power House, District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla today visited Ladan Power House and instructed the Power Development Corporation and R&B to complete the construction work of road immediately so that emergency vehicles can be allowed through this road in case of traffic jam on National Highway between Udhampur and Chenani.
It is pertinent to mention here that a link road between Jakhani and Chenani via Ladan Power House is being maintained by PDC and can be used for passage of emergency vehicles in case of traffic jams on National Highway.
DDC asked the executing agency to complete the work in a time bound manner, which will provide connectivity to various areas of Sewna block.
