As many as 35 public delegations and individuals hailing from different parts of the state met the Advisor K Skandan at Convocation Hall here on Saturday, an official spokesman said.
He said that the delegation of Drass Kargil headed by councillor, Bhimbhat constituency of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil Aga Muhammad Shah , a deputation of land owners whose land has been acquired/identified by the government for construction of Ring road, a deputation of JK Cements, a delegation of teachers, who were working in education department as an academic arrangements and have been disengaged, a deputation of the people of Baramulla, Kashmiri Pandit migrants delegation, a delegation of diploma holders of pharmacists Jammu, daily wagers working in Power Development Department, delegation of Kashmiri migrants and employees of Agriculture department called on Advisor Skandan and apprised him about the issues being confronted by them.
Meanwhile, several individuals also met the Advisor andregistered their grievances and issues for their solution. The Advisor assuredthe people for redressal of all their genuine grievances and said that everygenuine issue and demand would be resolved on priority. He said that thegrievances registered would be forwarded to the concerned departments for theirappropriate disposal.
Among others, Director Industries and Commerce, AnooMalhotra, Commissioner Relief, M L Raina, Regional Transport Officer, Jammu,Dhananter Singh, Joint Director Horticulture Jammu, Travinder Singh, JointDirector Agriculture, Anil Arora, Joint Director Handicrafts, Anju Gupta andother concerned officers also attended the grievance camp.
