Departments allotted to Standing Counsel for SC

Government has ordered allocation of work to advocate-on-record and additional standing counsel representing the state of J&K in the Supreme Court and other courts/ tribunals at New Delhi.

As per the order, advocate-on-record, standing counsel forJ&K state, Mohammad Shoeb Alam has been allotted with the work of draftingof appeals/objections and appearing as standing counsel-cum-advocate-on-recordin all the cases.

   

Alam shall also appear as standing counsel in all the casesof home department, GAD, finance, higher education department, PHE, socialwelfare, housing,  planning&development department, hospitality & protocol, IT department, cooperative,agriculture production, estates, planning department, ARI & trainingsdepartment, housing & urban development department, law, justice &parliamentary affairs and  any otherdepartment before the Supreme Court.

Additional standing counsel G M Kawoosa has been allottedthe work of state counsel before the Supreme Court in cases of SSB,  forest department,  PDD, revenue department, animal & sheep husbandry department, science andtechnology department, health & medical education department, PW (R&B)department,  information department,disaster management, school education department and industries department.

Additional standing counsel Shashi Juneja has been allotted the work of state counsel before National Green Tribunal and also Delhi High Court and all cases of the election department, CM/governors secretariat, rural development department, transport department, labour & employment, tourism department, CAPO,  Ladakh affairs,  horticulture, tribal affairs and culture departments before the Supreme Court.
