Director General of Police Dilbag Singh has sanctioned welfare relief for fifteen retired police personnel and NOKs of three deceased personnel in distress, a police spokesman said.
He said that an amount of Rs 2.97 lakh has been sanctionedout of retired policemen welfare fund to cater their expenses of urgent nature.
As per the PHQ order issued on March 14, 2019 welfare reliefhas been sanctioned for the personnel to meet the expenses like self treatment,treatment of spouse or children and education or marriage of daughters.
