Founder of Ikkjutt Jammu, Prof Hari Om, Sunday accused the Narendra Modi-led central government of ignoring Jammu and Ladakh regions and demanded Jammu and Kashmir state to be divided into four parts.
“Governor says that there will be no trifurcation, nordelimitation and neither revoking of the state’s special status. This isinjustice with Ladakh and Jammu. Delhi has again disappointed Jammu and Ladakhregions, who stood beside them unlike Kashmir,” Om said while addressing mediapersons here in the winter capital.
He alleged, “Delhi is Jammu’s enemy. If Jammu and Ladakhhave been destroyed, it has been done by Delhi. What Delhi hid, Omar Abdullahdisclosed after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
“As the government says that Articles 35-A and 370 will notbe revoked, it clears that Ladakh and Jammu which voted Modi to power withmassive mandate will continue to be neglected,” Om alleged.
He further said, “Enough is enough. For 72 years, Jammu andLadakh have been waiting that they will be listened, but it did not happen.But, not it is clear that this is the same Delhi like it was during the timesof former Prime Minister late Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru. There is no differencebetween BJP and Congress. They always abuse Jammu. Now, we will not tolerate.”
Demanding Jammu and Kashmir state to be divided into fourparts, he said, “To give due share to Jammu and Ladakh, the state should bedivided into four parts. Jammu and Ladakh should be separated from Kashmirdivision. Kashmir should also be divided into two parts. One half of Kashmirshould be given to migrated Kashmiri Pandits for their rehabilitation, andsecond half should be made a Union Territory so that Delhi can manage it fromthe capital city.”
