On the directions of Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Naushad Ahmed Khan, advocate Leena Devi, panel lawyer and advocate Deepali Arora, retainer lawyer of DLSA Tuesday visited District Jail Amphalla to collect data of the prisoners eligible for their release.
Jailauthorities apprised the visiting advocates that the main hurdle in the releaseof these eligible prisoners on parole was that their families were unable tofurnish the surety bond in the court of the executive magistrate due to therestrictions on their entry in the premises of Deputy Commissioner, Jammu.
