Postgraduate department of Surgery of Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, under the aegis of JK Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India (JAKASI), is going to organize its 7th annual conference on ‘Surgico-Ethical Issue in 21st Century’ from October 19 to 21 in the college auditorium.
Organizing secretary Dr Sanjay Kumar Bhasin, while addressing a press conference, informed, “The 3-day conference is going to be attend by about 400 delegates. We will host participants from the state, AIIMS, PGHMER Chandigarh, ASI Head quarter and AMASI Headquarter. Besides, internationally acclaimed surgeons will also be participating.”
“There shall be live operative workshops, wherein advanced laparoscopic surgery shall be performed by the doyens of surgery. The live surgeries shall be relayed from the primary surgical OT to Auditorium,” he added.
“In addition to this, there shall be 25 guest faculty papers, 4 panel discussions on What Ails Medical Profession, Ca Breast, Ca Gallbladder and Management of Trauma,” he disclosed.
