Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik has congratulated Irfan Ramzan Sheikh on being awarded ‘Shaurya Chakra’, the third highest peacetime decoration of India, for fighting militants who attacked his house in Kashmir, an official spokesman said.
The Governor observed that the courage with which Irfanfought militants is exemplary and will always be an inspiration for people todefeat ill designs of elements inimical to peace and harmony in the society.
