Governor Satya Pal Malik today paid rich tribute to martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their 88th martyrdom anniversary, an official spokesman said.
Saluting their martyrdom, the Governor observed that the sacrifices made by the revolutionaries inIndia’s freedom struggle would always inspire the youth to serve selflesslytowards the better interest of the nation. “Their sacrifice and courage willforever be remembered by the generations to come,” Governor Malik added.
Meanwhile, GovernorMalik paid rich tributes to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia on his 109th birthanniversary.
Recalling his long association with Dr Lohia, Governor Malik described him as a great socialistleader, a reformer, a prolific thinker and a man of substance, who dedicatedhis life to the welfare of the people, especially the deprived sections ofsociety.
