Jammu and Kashmir government ordered appointment of the first appellate authority and the public information officers in the PHE I&FC department.
As per the order, Majik K Drabu, special secretary to PHEI&FC department has been appointed as the first appellant authority of thedepartment in terms of section (16) of the Jammu and Kashmir Right toinformation Act, 2009.
Naresh Kumar, deputy secretary to government, PHE andI&FC department has been appointed as public information officer of thedepartment under J&K RTI Act, 2009.
MuzamilMaqbool, deputy secretary to government, PHE I&FCdepartment has been nominated as Nodal Officer for J&K government grievancecell and departmental website portal in addition to his own duties.
As per the order, he shall also act as Nodal Officer to allother grievances received from advisor(s)/other authorities.
Besides, the following officers have been appointed asassistant PIOs under the RTI Act. Mohammad Amin Shah, Under Secretary to Govt., is PIO as per RTI Act of Gazetted/HRM Sections ofthe Department in addition to his own duties.
Mohammed Iqbal Choudhary, Assistant Director(P&S) hasbeen nominated as Assistant PIO as per RTI Act, 2009 of Planning/AccountsSections of the Department in addition to his own duties.
Firdous Ahmed Parray, PLO is nominated as Assistant PIO as per RTI Act, 2009 of Legal Section of the Department in addition to his own duties.
Arifa Ashraf, Under Secretary to Govt., has beennominated as Assistant PIO as per RTIAct, 2009 of Non-Gazetted Section ofthe Department in addition to his own duties.
