Jammu and Kashmir government has constituted State Level Policy Implementation Monitoring Committee and Divisional Level De-addiction Centre Monitoring Committee for Jammu and Kashmir Division respectively under Drug De-addiction Policy.
Accordingto government order, Chief Secretary of the state has been appointed asChairman of state level policy implementation monitoring committee whileAdministrative Secretary, Health & Medical Education Department has beenappointed as vice chairman of the committee.
Administrative Secretary,School Education Department, Administrative Secretary, Social WelfareDepartment, Administrative Secretary, Youth Services & Sports Department,Administrative Secretary, Department of Law, Justice & ParliamentaryAffairs, Director, SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar, Inspector General of Police, CrimeBranch, J&K, Excise Commissioner, J&K, Principal have been appointed asmembers.
Principals of GovernmentMedical College, Jammu and Srinagar have been appointed as member secretary foralternative every two years.
Headof the Department, Department of Psychiatry, (IMHANS), and Government MedicalCollege Srinagar and Head of the Department, Department of Psychiatry, GovernmentMedical College, Jammu have been appointed as technical members.
In addition, four members namely Dr (Prof)Rafiq Ahmad Pampori, ex-principal, GMC, Srinagar, Head, Darul Uloom Illahiya,Soura Srinagar, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, General Secretary, Press Club Jammu, OmarTrumboo, Civil Society Forum, Kashmir and Tashi Wangchuck, Social Activist fromLeh have been appointed as civil society members.
