Private Members’ Resolution (PMR) moved by the MLA Muhammad Shafi Uri seeking recruitment to class IVs and Class III posts in District Cadre at the Block Level to give adequate representation to all the areas and sections was returned by the Legislative Assembly today.
Earlier, legislators Raja Manzoor Ahmad, Javaid Hassan Beigh, Nawang Rigzin Jora, R S Pathania, Yawar Ahmad Mir, Hakeem Mohammad Yasin and Mohammad Khalil Band took part in the discussion and supported the Resolution.
Mian Altaf Ahmad also took part in the discussion and said that it is not feasible to recruit all areas and sections for recruitment of Class IV and Class III posts at the block level and later opposed the Resolution.
After thorough discussions, the House rejected the Resolution.
