IGP takes stock of traffic management in Jammu city

Inspector General of Police (IGP), Traffic, Jagjit Kumar today took stock of all its men and machinery during a meeting to griddle up to meet the emerging challenges faced in the management of traffic in Jammu City.

 During the meeting, SSP Nisha Nathyal briefed the IGP about the traffic situation in the City.

On the occasion, IGP reiterated his commitment in light of the expectations of the government and general public to streamline traffic and stressed upon his men in blue to exhibit high sense of responsibility and duty while regulating traffic and also to foster public Police relationship with maximum focus on traffic regulation strictly as per instructions.

 He further emphasized to bring uniformity in management of traffic by making all commuters including government, Police on a plane of discipline and order in the interest of all commuters with zero tolerance against lapses committed.
